Limited Warranty

Rerode Motorcycles Inc. (or Rerode) hereby warrants that all Rerode motorcycles purchased through a Rerode Motorcycles Inc. authorized sales channel are free from manufacturer defects during the period of this Limited Warranty, subject to certain limitations stated herein.

This Limited Warranty applies only if Rerode motorcycles have been operated according to “proper use” and “under normal operating conditions”, e.g. following normal operational care and following instructions in any manual or documentation provided, or made available, by Rerode Motorcycles Inc. from time to time.

Warranty claims can be submitted through email (shop@rerode.com). This Limited Warranty is not transferable, and an original receipt (proof of purchase) from Rerode Motorcycles Inc.. Please contact the authorized dealer if a product is purchased through them.

This Limited Warranty covers separate parts only, including battery, motor, controller, frame, front and rear suspension, brakes, wheels and electrical sub-assemblies. The warranty does not cover damages caused by normal wear and tear.

The warranty does not apply in the event of crashes, damages, abuse, neglect, carelessness, using the product in any way other than intended, replacement with any part or accessory other than original Rerode parts and products, attempt of reparation or modification.

Any modification to the Rerode motorcycles or riding with damaged parts will void this warranty, as modifications and broken parts may cause the motorcycles to malfunction and risk the safety of the rider.

Warranty Period and Coverage

  • Rerode Motorcycles Inc. warrants to the customer that the motorcycles are free of manufacturer defects. Any part found to be defective within 1 year from the product delivery date or date of purchase through retailers subject to the limitations of the warranty terms will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
  • Rerode Motorcycles Inc. offers a warranty on the power system (motor, controller, display, and battery) within 1 year from the product delivery date. The batteries are covered by the warranty (subject to the limitations listed above) in case a battery exhibits a nominal storage capacity reduction of greater than 30% of the published nominal capacity.

Based on the number of days and mileage at the time of warranty claim submission.

General exclusions from warranty

This warranty does not cover failures resulting from, or caused by:

  • Lack of proper maintenance or care
  • Misuse of the motorcycles, including but not limited to racing and competition
  • Modification, alterations, and installation of parts that are not genuine Rerode parts or supplied as original equipment
  • Damages due to accident, collision, abuse or neglect
  • Any misuse in charging, discharging, or improper storage of the motorcycles
  • Normal wear and tear components, including but not limited to drive chains, drive belts, seats, grips, rims, lights / lamps, tires, brake levers, bearings, etc.
  • Damages to the paint, coatings or corrosion of metal parts due to external influences such as stones, salt, inadequate cleaning with inadequate cleaning products
  • Fading of painted or metal coated surfaces
  • Negligence on the part of the customer

Owner responsibility

Owner is responsible for maintaining the motorcycles in accordance with the owner's manual.

The owner is responsible for the costs of motorcycle maintenance, including service failures caused directly by a lack of maintenance or improper maintenance, which will void the warranty.

If warranty repairs are needed, they must be performed by an authorized Rerode service center.

Limitations on warranty

This limited warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages, including loss of value of the Rerode motorcycles, lost profits or earnings, out-of-pocket expenses for substitute transportation or lodging, expenses associated with returning the covered product to an authorized service facility or dealer, towing and/or roadside assistance expenses, expenses associated with returning the covered product back to its owner, mechanic’s travel time or communication charges, loss or damage to personal property, loss or time, or inconvenience.
